I get my barkbox the same time my mom gets hers. We live at the same house. She got hers but mine never came. I checked tracking and on their website says no tracking available. I do have an e-mail from scout with a Fedex tracking number. It's been sitting in Troutdale Oregon for 4 days now. Has not even departed. they keep updating the box but to only say its still in Troutdale Oregon still. I am located in Washington. This is ridiculous. My mom got her barkbox for her dog but my poor dog still hasn't gotten his.

I had a terrible experience with barkbox. My dog is not a strong chewer at all (he's a shih tzu) but somehow every time we got a box the toys were super cheap and would fall apart immediately. I was actually thinking of quitting the subscription but I liked the surprises each month so I thought I'd stick it out a few months. He had never destroyed any toys until we started getting barkbox toys, so after a couple deliveries - I knew they were cheaper than average. They'd basically fall apart in 2 min of him playing with them which sucked.On our last barkbox, one toy actually fell apart immediately when he was chewing on the new toy for the first time (literally within a minute of me giving it to him) he accidentally swallowed the squeaker and ended up having a $5000+ surgery as a result to get it out. He had to be completely cut open. Between the emotional pain of my dog having surgery, being in the ICU, having a pain med patch stapled to his back and weeks of recovery, I never trusted this company again. I wish I had never tried them.Suffice to say, not a fan and I tell anyone considering trying them this story. I'd rather pick my own treats and toys and be able to know what i'm getting quality wise. Be careful if you subscribe, big breeds might be ok but I'm sure small breeds regularly have this happen to them with this company.
I purchased a six month order, all prepaid. The only reason I did order was there was a special going on that the first box would be doubled. After a few days the tracking hadn't updated so I chatted with them, and "it will be going out in the next day or two." Two weeks later and NOTHING has shipped. They keep offering me free boxes, but I can't seem to get the initial one that I paid for. A few days ago, a different lady said no you should have gotten it by now I will send a replacement. I thought ok great finally! HAHAHAHA Jokes on me!!! I received an email saying that my replacement was no longer available, but they would be happy to give me a free box at the end of my subscription. I am beyond frustrated, and fed up. I've asked to cancel my subscription, but they keep saying give it a little while. I just want my money back. I can go to the store and buy my babies toys...
The first time I ordered from BarkBox I had a bad experience. They lost my order, and I had to contact them several times to receive my order. I thought I would give them a second chance and I placed an order on 8/22 for my granddog's birthday on 8/29. I received an email stating the order would be received in 2-5 days. It is now the 29th, her birthday, and my order has not even left the warehouse yet! I will not be giving them a third try. From now on I will be ordering from Amazon. They are much more reliable.

It looks like this month's box would be Click's second box and last month was the first. Right now the first box always auto ships right away. Then following that our boxes ship out on the 15th of the month and you can see those boxes anytime from the 15th-26th of the month. Then right now that ETA delivery date can change at any time. We are so very sorry about this and can see how that would be frustrating! Then right now when you sign up for a multi month commitment and cancel that stops the renewal. Meaning you will still get the boxes that you signed up for and none following that. We try to make that apparent at sign up, but it can be easy to miss at times. I have a yellow lab named Lola. I signed up for bark box and have never been disappointed with anything that the service has to offer. In the three boxes that we have gotten thus far, there have been some toys that Lola won’t play with. When I called bark box, they sent replacement toys for Lola, and asked that I donate the other toys to a shelter. I have nothing but praise for this company. Anyone thinking about signing up for this service, remember this, you just can’t go wrong with bark box.

So what's the best way for a Slickdealer to get a BarkBox subscription? My recommendation is to sign up for the 12 month plan to lock in the $21/box price. Skip months when you've got too many toys, and feel at ease knowing you can cancel at any time. Basically, for the price of two generic toys from the pet store, you can get a themed box of curated goodies for your favorite fur baby.
The toys are very good value. They are high quality and most importantly, very unique. I can't find any toys at the store like the ones they put in the box. BarkBox often uses a combination of crinkle paper, squeakers (tube/regular), and rope. The problem with store toys is they are usually only squeaker or only rope, etc. BarkBox will use crinkle paper and a tube squeaker in one toy and maybe even some rope. This is something that is small but seems like a big deal to my dog.
I thought I'd try BarkBox since they had a Black Friday Special for $5.00. I signed up and received the box fairly quickly, and not even 2 weeks later a $20 charge came out of my account. Wait, what? This is a monthly subscription, not every week and a half subscription! I went to cancel and you can cancel but only after your year subscription is up.

My Mastiff, Thor, and his pitbull sister, Brinley, anxiously await their monthly BarkBox as soon as I tell them it's been shipped. The treats are nutritious, I use some of them in my puppy training classes. Thor commandeers the toys but gradually lets his sister play with them. Most of them hold up very well, lasting for several months. For a heavy chewer like mine, this is a testament to their quality.
I was going to buy Bark Box but after reading what all the customers here wrote about your companies treatment and poor quality no way..I work hard for my money and don’t have time to fix company problems that have my money that don’t do the right thing by their customers, so I wouldn’t even give it one chance after reading the unjustly unfair problems everyone has dealt with buying BarkBox I just read here so sorry customer service is a rare thing these days it seems if you don’t have good reviews I will spend my money where the company treats you with value.
The box is extra fun because it has a new surprise theme to keep things fresh each month. If they can’t find something your dog will love that fits the theme, they make it themselves! One of the coolest things is that they have an online store – called BarkShop – where you can order more of what your dog loved in their box. (their product descriptions are hilarious by the way and will keep you entertained for hours).
On the 20th, I filled out a support ticket to find out what was going on and was told there are delays this month due to a change in location of their warehouse. Now, wouldn't you think the company would send out a communication to its client base at the beginning of the month letting them know there may be delays this month due to a new location for their warehouse?
The first BarkPark is scheduled to open on September 8 in Nashville, Tenn. It will be open daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. through November. The BarkPark will encompass a landscaped green space designed for dogs to run around as well as access to plenty of Bark-branded toys and treats. (Bark currently produces more than 430 new toys each year.) The park is promised to be cleaned regularly, and there will be BarkPark “hosts” who are also trained professionals to monitor dog play and ensure safety for all attendees.
