Like several corporate replies to others' reviews, I also have been informed by corporate that a "hiccup in the warehouse" is delaying August orders. Zero information was provided by the company up front to explain this problem. I attempted a chat with customer service last week only to discover that there is no chat. I had to leave a message, which wasn't returned. Then I emailed customer service about an ETA. That prompted a corporate reply with the as-now-standard "hiccup in the warehouse" explanation. I was told our August box is "still on the way." That doesn't answer my ETA question.

My two large GSDs have not chewed through a single toy from the first box we tried, in December. Worth looking into! They were also very responsive to me on the online chat, during their business hours. One chew they went through in minutes, not a toy, but a chew, and because I pay extra I was frustrated. I got an immediate reply from their online chat option, and they offered to send TWO replacement chews. Such great options! I also recommend you trying bullymake, and my favorite is DapperDog, which I was disappointed that it wasn’t even mentioned in this article. Worth looking into!

The Barkbox team uses product testers like Scout, (That dog is positively adorable!) an 18-month old Miniature Schnauzer to select products. The products are 100% organic and made from highest quality ingredients. Consumer products know that until you enter your card details, you haven't made the decision. There will be a drop-off at that point. So this allows them to capture you in their system even if you don't complete the purchase. If you sign up after this, great. Some days Sutton (Chihuahua mix, 8 pounds, 1 year) has so much puppy energy left over from dog-park play that she just runs around the apartment, digs out all of her toys from the toy bin, and squeaks anything she can find for hours on end. I may be the worst pet parent ever, but all that squeaking can get annoying. So I was happy to discover Hear Doggy ultrasonic squeaker toys, because they use squeakers tuned to an ultrasonic frequency between 24 and 28 KHz that’s silent to people but still makes a fun noise for dogs. To people it sounds like the squeaker died and there’s just a little trapped air being pushed out, but apparently to a dog it still sounds like their favorite toy. Sutton gets just as excited when squeaking this thing as she does her traditional squeakers—fun times for her and a lifesaver for my ears.

Emmy likes: The blue hippo toy is super durable and has a little slot where you can slip in some treats, which will keep Tico occupied for a wee bit when I leave the house. Also, wow: the appleberry treats smell like cinnamon cookies! (They're made from all-natural ingredients including applesauce, blueberries, honey, and cinnamon.) The jerky treats are "chippable," so you can break off just a little at a time, which is great for ~portion~ control or as training treats. Also, the "heavy chewers" box is just $5 more than the cost of a regular box, and it's customizable for common allergies; you can also email them if your pup's allergies aren't listed and they'll be happy to accommodate.
