I highly recommend The Dapper Dog Box to anyone looking to spoil their dog with quality products. As an over concerned dog mom, I'm always analyzing treat ingredients. The Dapper Dog Box always sends treats that are in line with my healthy beliefs for Bruce Wayne. I am also highly impressed with the size appropriate toys they send, as BW is a TINY dog .
If your arm tires out during games of fetch before your dog does, the Chuckit! Classic Ball Launcher is just what you need. The Chuckit! Classic Ball Launcher is a lightweight ball launcher designed to accommodate both regular tennis balls and Chuckit! compatible balls, enabling you to launch them at distances much further than you could throw on your own. In fact, this manual ball launcher allows you to throw balls further than even an automatic ball launcher can manage.
According to the BarkBox website, all edible items are tested in-house, are sourced directly from the U.S., Canada, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, and are never processed with formaldehyde. Because BarkBox’s founders are dog lovers as well, they wouldn’t send anything to your dogs, that they wouldn’t send to their own. In addition, the company claims that at least 10% of all profits are given to canine-related shelters, rescues, and welfare organizations.
Thanks so much for your review and for making us aware. We are so very sorry to hear that the treats didn't work out. Our main priority is for your pup to be happy and healthy. So we are so sorry that wasn't the case with those. We are more than happy to look more into this for you and we hope to get an update on how your pup is doing! We would also love more info on these treats if you still have them! Please email us directly at Lindz@barkbox.com so we can make sure your pup is okay and to get more info on the treats!
Emmy dislikes: The bandana was a little too snug for Tico, and because of his sensitivities to literally everything, he's not much of a bandana dog, so I could've done without that (though it is super cute!). Also, it's the most expensive subscription box out of all three, though just by a few dollars, and it's the same price whether you buy just one or go with a year-round subscription.
My first order my dog tore apart toys within one hour. I called to cancel, and they won’t let me! They said I signed up for a year and I’m stuck. They keep shipping every month and charging my PayPal account. So I have a balance with PayPal, and I keep sending the boxes back unopened. Total scam! Now I can’t use my PayPal account or cancel it! Ugh! Don’t sign up!
Not only do the themed monthly boxes start at only $21, but if your pup doesn’t dig something that came in his box, the company will fix it for you according to their Scout’s Honor policy. Although I can personally attest to the fact that you will be making very few calls to Customer Service, as all treats and toys are dog-tested and approved. My 3-year-old Pomeranian never met a BarkBox she didn’t like, and now she’s convinced every package that comes through my apartment door is for her. #Princess.
I absolutely LOVE AND RECCOMENDED Barkbox for anyone who is always worried that their dog has to have the best and healthiest of everything, like I am. I subscribe to a 12 month large dog box. I also get an extra toy free every month. Every month Biscuit recieves 3 toys, 2 FULL bags of treats and a chew. The toys are seasonal matching and EXTREMELY DURABLE! Biscuit is a fan of destruction of everything so I was relieved and surprised to see them all holding up to her aggressive nature with them. And she does try very hard to rip them apart. They also have sounds that intrigue her. Crinkly, giggle, squeaker.
I'm actually pretty sure that BarkBox charged me for a box that I haven't received...oh my, the thought of trying to get that refunded makes me sigh. I've tried the cute route, I might need to be a little more adult about this communication. For my pups, I'm going to try another toy delivery service, or simply buy toys through Chewy or hey, even the local pet supply store! Novel idea! Support local businesses!
Every BarkBox delivers 2 original toys, tailored to your dog’s size, 2 full bags of all-natural treats, and a scrumptious, high-quality chew. All of our toys are designed in-house and our treats are always made in the USA and Canada, never contain any corn, wheat, or soy. And each month, BarkBox comes wrapped in a surprise new theme for pups and their parents to enjoy, like our popular “Chewrassic Bark,”“Space Squirrels,” and “Knights of the Hound Table” boxes.

Emmy likes: The collegiate-themed box, including a frat bro and bona fide Bark University "acceptance letter," was *adorable*. (Or should I say...adogable? No, I shouldn't. I'm sorry.) Tico doesn't discriminate when it comes to treats (we're talking about a dog who ate a slimy days-old banana lying in the dirt the other day), and he loved them all equally — but it's great that you can customize the box to accommodate any allergies your pup has. Oh, and you can join its "extra toy club" and receive an additional toy in your box for an extra $9. Starting at $21/month, Barkbox is also the most affordable subscription we tried.
I'm brand new to Bark Box and I ordered my very 1st BB for my dog on August 1st. Here it is now August 9th and no box. When I chatted with a rep I was told that the boxes are delayed due to a change in location and I would be receiving an email w/a tracking # "soon". Still no email, no tracking #. Such a disappointment from what seems to be a solid company that cares about our dogs. I will be canceling my subscription after I receive this box. If I don't receive it by next week I'll be requesting a full refund. I'm only giving 1 star because they do donate to pet shelters.
When I'd initiate a chat on their website, or send an email, I was offered replacement items, then would receive an email two weeks later telling me the replacements were out of stock. Lately, every email has been talking about their new distribution center, but there has been a glitch and so things are delayed. The new distribution center was supposedly going to make things more reliable - uh, not true.
