It is nice to have the bark box come each month, both for the dog and its owners as I feel like we all sit around to read the theme and analyze the toys and treats. Sometimes the toys are a little redundant and the treats may not always be ones you approve of, but overall the experience is pretty solid. I do wish they had an option where you wouldn't receive toys that squeek. His favorite toy to date is the Bison!
Are your dogs bored? Are finding it difficult to keep up with all you require to make your dog happier each month? BarkBox comes to your assistance and lifts your pooch out of boredom. With a Barkbox subscription, you give your doggy companion a surprise treats every month. You can expect excitement, happiness, and fulfillment from your pup with new toys, healthy treats, and collections of different grooming products every month.
But as much as this is a place for dogs, it is clearly also meant to be a space for their human companions to enjoy well, tapping into the documented trend among consumers looking to spend more on experiences—especially those that photograph for Instagram well—these days. The park will be putting on a number of events, at least twice weekly, including “Downward Dog Yoga” and “Okto-Bark-Fest.” The park will also host some of Bark’s existing programming already held routinely in other cities, such as the Open Bark Night comedy show.
Hey there Christy and pack! We are so happy to hear that you guys are loving the monthly goodies and we don't blame you at all. They are just that good. I'm so sad thought to hear that some of the toys are not the perfect size for Milo! We want to keep those tails wagging and to make the boxes as special for you guys as we can. So what we can do is customize your monthly boxes to better cater your whole pack! Then we can also customize the chews so you don't get them in your boxes or we can customize them so you don't get the harder ones. We would love to help with this and can do so if you email us directly at Lindz@barkbox.com!
Is your pup running out of goodies to eat and play with? And are you too preoccupied with life’s demands that you keep forgetting to buy puppy delights? Dog subscription boxes are here, setting the new trend, to keep your dogs and puppies constantly rewarded. Barkbox boasts a range of high-quality treats and toys that are made from natural products assuring maximum customer satisfaction.
We did recently switch warehouses in July and in doing so it caused a hiccup in our system with some boxes. So some of our boxes were a little bit delayed. We are more than happy to make sure that you get that July box and check into the tracking more for you and turn this around. Then going forward I want to ensure you and your pack that you shouldn't have any further trouble with boxes. That was just due to our warehouse move for the month of July. Then your box for this month should be there in no time at all. Our official shipping date monthly is on the 15th! We would love to double check this for you and give you more specifics. Please just email us directly at Lindz@barkbox.com and we can look into this for you and get your July box all taken care of.
Loot Pets is a subscription from Loot Crate. Its focus is on geeky dog toys, treats, and gear! “When you tell customers when they should expect their shipments, they’re pretty good at holding you accountable to that,” Snowden says. But the homegrown fulfillment solution BarkBox was using made it difficult to communicate with customers when delivery information changed, and nearly impossible to get timely feedback when something went wrong. In the event of a delay, the information might not reach the customer until it was too late, and worse still, the customer would oftentimes reach out to the carrier’s customer support to get help. “The carriers of course do everything they can, but we as a brand lost the control over that experience,” Snowden says.
I would be interested in a comparison between the companies that donate to shelters/rescues about the cost compared to donation rate. That has a big impact on my decision of which company to use. Currently we subscribe to Rescue Box. My border collie/aussie/whoknowswhat mix destroys most of the toys in minutes, but she has such fun doing it we don’t mind. We just make sure we are watching so she doesn’t swallow anything she shouldn’t. I have 7 dogs and they all find something they want in the Rescue Box. It’s a great day when a box arrives each month no matter what.
Each plan automatically renews at its original interval (monthly, six months, or yearly), and you can cancel your renewal at any time. But if you really don't like the idea of commitments, rest assured that you can simply "bark in" to customer service and they will cancel your subscription immediately, regardless of your renewal date. They'll also issue a refund for any unused months if you are on the pre-paid plan. I confirmed this via chat, and it's also where I picked up all this doggie-lingo.
But the data also shows a wide range. The lower bound is under $15, while the upper bound is over $35. This means there is scope for BarkBox to “complicate” their pricing. Consumer products try and keep pricing simple to reduce the friction in the sign-up. This often leads to them leaving money on the table. Here, BarkBox has options at both the premium level and the lower priced level:
Not only does the StarMark Bob-A-Lot dispense treats, but the weighted anti-slip bottom makes the toy wiggle and wobble, engaging your dog's senses and enticing him to play. Made from durable plastic and easy to clean, this toy is a top choice for dogs and dog owners alike. Simply fill it with treats then set it on the floor — a nudge is all it takes to make the toy wobble and your dog will be hooked immediately.
Hey Dustie and pack! We are so happy to hear that you guys are loving every single toy and treat that comes in your boxes! That is our main goal when sending out those boxes monthly! Also we hope that you guys have put those recipes to good use. Additionally if you guys need more durability at any time we are happy to help out. Please just email us at Lindz@barkbox.com!

1.5 weeks later I get a plastic puzzle toy in the mail. I'm confused, I thought I was supposed to be getting a plush replacement (my pup LOVES plushes) I feel bad for asking a fourth time, but honestly I pay $25.00 a month for this box. So I ask about the replacement plush, as nicely as possible and am told they don't send out the same types of toys if my dog is just going to destroy them quickly, but they'll send me out a plush anyway, even though they don't usually do that."
Claire likes: I *adore* a good theme, which made opening this box an utterly delightful experience for my extreme type-A soul. The hippo has easily become Ruggie's favorite toy of all time; it was one of the only things that comforted her after her surgery. It's part rope, part stuffed animal, part nubby ball with squeaker inside, and while Ruggie hasn't done much damage to it yet, I'm betting this would be a great toy for power chewers since it's basically toy-ception.
Larger dogs and heavy chewers need a toy that will hold up to their sharp teeth and strong chewing — that is exactly what the KONG Extreme Dog Toy provides. Constructed from an ultra-durable black rubber compound, this chew toy is virtually indestructible, and one of the top recommended toys by vets and dog trainers. It also earned the approval of our test dogs!
